Location - North West London. This staff focussed, well established organisation is looking for a Operations Production Executive / Administrator to join their established team.
Purpose of the Job:
Provide a professional, supportive service to the company and its partners. Administer a set of pre defined vendors (manufacturers) seeking out and acquiring all the necessary product information, including pricing and product marketing content, so as to bring products to market through the systems, in the shortest possible time. Accurately maintaining those products to an agreed standard, throughout their lifecycle ensuring they are presented with accurate information and saleable way to customers at all times.
Job Content and Context:
1. Achieve targets set by the Operations Production Manager
2. Conduct highly effective meetings with vendors and product management to ensure the most accurate product data is incorporated within our systems and therefore available to the company and its customers.
3. Build relationships with key vendor contacts to ensure data is provided quickly to ensure products are presented accurately at all times and that new products are brought to market as quickly as possible.
4. Ensure the company’s legal requirements are met with regards to the financial claims on product pricing
5. Escalate any perceived threats or opportunities to the company, to the Operations Production Manager
6. Maintain the company’s systems and web sites to the highest possible standard.
This role will suit a strong team player – able to work closely within a dynamic team and have the confidence to influence others to achieve your objectives. This is not a role for the meek or timid! Must have worked in a team for at least 6 months and accept guidance from peers.
You will be an articulate, focussed individual, with a high customer service ethic. Willing to go the extra mile, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
You will also have an active interest in computer products.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements: (E) = ESSENTIAL, (D) = DESIRABLE for applicants to meet relevant standard
1. Qualification /Training :
Must be both literate and numerate and educated to at least A level standard or equivalent (E)
At least one year experience in an IT distributor or reseller environment (E)
2. Experience /Knowledge:
Commercially aware, knowing the importance of getting products to market.
3. Skills & aptitude: ( must )
Excellent written and oral communication skills. (E)
High Attention to detail (E)
Problem solving ability (E)
Numerate & logical - capable of calculating and working with wide ranging mathematical calculations pertaining to product pricing, discounts, rebates etc. (E)
Excellent/ accurate keyboard skills - must have used MS Excel/Word, bespoke systems (Large corporate systems e.g. SAP, Oracle Financials etc.) (E)
Languages - knowledge of oral/written French and/or Spanish (D) |
